Kathy Bornarth

Kathy is the founder and president of The National Association of Christian Journal Writers, Owner of Journaling4Faith and The Hope Counseling Center.

Since keeping her first journal as a teen, she’s experienced the fun and the benefits of recording my thoughts and feelings. As an adult, she’s come to recognize that journaling is more than an enjoyable past time, but offers spiritual and physical benefits as well.


Doreen Penner

Doreen PennerDoreen is a wife, Mom, entrepreneur, professional coach, speaker, and author.  She is a heart girl, always has been.  God called her to connect with the heart.  She’s had many years of experience listening at a deep level both as a counselor and as a coach.  Her passion is to help women do the “heartwork” that sets them free to live out the calling God placed in their lives.

Doreen empowers Christian women leaders in business and ministry.  She speaks at women’s events, conferences, and retreats sharing insights she receives from the Lord.  Her words have been described as “chocolate mousse for the soul”.  Doreen holds a Masters Degree in counseling.  She teaches courses and workshops at local colleges and businesses.  She is the author of “Living Authentic Faith:  Vivid Impressions of the Heart” – a women’s daily devotional, and her soon to be released, “A Heart for the Harvest” Bible study book.  Doreen has been a featured guest on multiple Blogtalk Radio shows.  She resides in Manitoba, Canada.

Kathy Widenhouse

Kathy Widenhouse is a freelance copywriter who specializes in writing for the faith-based organizations and the nonprofit market. Her 100+ articles have appeared in more than 40 periodicals and she has written 5 books. Kathy spent 20 years as a flutist in “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in Washington, D.C. before turning to writing full-time. Today, she invests time in helping entrepreneurs and ministries have great writing for their organizations.

Deborah Haddix

Deborah's photoDeborah is a board-certified advanced Christian life coach, speaker, and writer whose passion is to empower women to embrace God’s design for their life and their relationships. She has been journaling for her own Spiritual growth for many years and since becoming a grandmother has discovered several ways to incorporate this valuable discipline into that very special role. Deborah is the author of Praying with Purpose: Helping Equip Your Grandchildren to Stand Fast in the Faith. The book is a resource for grandparents and shares several creative journaling techniques.

Diane Cunningham, M.Ed.

dianeDiane is the President and Founder of the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs®, a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate. NACWE offers training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. NACWE was launched in May 2010 and has been building and expanding since that time with members throughout the United States and Canada. She created NACWE in May of 2010 as a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate through monthly online training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. This community and sisterhood is the premier place to learn marketing and mindset in a faith foundation, and it has members throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.

She has a Master’s Degree in Education (guidance and counseling) from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington and is a Certified Mastermind Executive Coach.

Diane is an avid volunteer and is active in her church, local community events, and non-profit organizations that fit with her life mission. She was named one of the “Top 20 Leaders under the Age of 40” in Wichita Falls, Texas in January 2011 and chosen as the Inspirational Woman of the Month for April in Inspirational Woman Magazine.
